August 6, 2012 - Children with Complex Medical Needs: Resources for Care and Support (136)
Whether a premature, medically fragile newborn or an older child with a complicated illness or injury, a child sometimes needs complex medical care, not only in the hospital but often long after returning home. This week’s Mom Enough guest is Dr. Roy Maynard, who has more than 20 years of experience caring for these multiply-challenged children and families. He offers guidance and information on where to turn and what to expect if you or someone you know faces this situation.
